HIGH PERFORMANCE HARDWARE
A lightweight, compact unit, the AP-1164 incorporates a universal power supply, 1-touch program control switch, and colour coded status LEDs. The USB interface links the programmer to a PC, for full control by the powerful Windows software. The Action switch also controls programming in PC mode, and replaces the need to go back to the keyboard once the programming options have been defined. 8 independent Voltage rails drive 64 independent universal pin drivers. This enables the programmer to offer Universal support for devices up to 52-pins PLCC with Universal Programming Pods The AP-1164 can program at any voltage from 1.8V to 25V in steps of 0.1V. This enables the exact requirements of the manufacturers programming algorithm to be met, including any marginal verify passes.
UNIVERSAL PROGRAMMING PODS
A large range of Pods offers support for all popular package types, including DIP, PLCC, QFP, SOIC, SSOP, PSOP & TSOP. The passive pods connect to the main unit via DIN41612 Eurocard connectors.
POWERFUL SOFTWARE INTERFACE
The AP-1164 is controlled by the ApPC (Atomic Programming Center). This fully customisable user interface uses Skins. This means the GUI can be set up to suit Engineering or Production applications, or even a Corporate profile. Different skins can be selected from within the software. A Skin Editor/Assembler and various icon sets are provided so that you can design your own skins. Menu text and all user/warning messages are stored in simple INI files can be customized for your own requirements, this includes Universal language support. Asian character sets are supported through Skin graphics. Create Project files using the Project Generator utility for quick and easy setup of regular jobs and tasks. Software status and Log display, plus Log file option. Multi-script control - control the programmer from your own applications...with your own front-end.	Multiple serialisation options via Visual Basic (VB) scripts to suit the exact need of the user. GUI support within the VB script enables checksums to be added to the serial number. All device features supported. Various checksum display options and Good/Bad device counts. APLiveUpdate ensures software and device updates are provided completely automatically. No need to download the whole software and re-install with each and every version update.
