Ultra Low Power Consumption Our range of wireless sensors offers unprecendented reliability and is built around the industry leading chipset from NXP-Jennic. Such is the low power requirements of the technology, consuming typically 35% less power than other existing solutions, our wireless sensors have a typical battery lifetime of over 2 years from 2xAA batteries. Our software will even report to you when the battery is running low, so you never need to lose vital data collection. The technology is based on the 802.15.4 wireless standard, using the Jennic JenNet Protocol Stack. It is absolutely perfect for data collection and transmission over multi-point networks, over surprisingly large distances, given the low power usage.No wires for hassle free installation The ever-growing product range already includes wireless sensors for measurement of temperature, humidity and lighting-levels. Installation of the sensor nodes is completely straightforward. Simply plug in the batteries, and place the sensor where you need it. No power leads, no control wires. The sensor nodes transmit data via the Gateway, which is mains powered, and this is then connected to your broadband/network router for connection to a PC or for external control. We even have solutions that record data to a USB stick, so no local PC is requiredOur Starter kits include a Gateway router plus the required sensors, and are intended to work "out of the box" and offer plug-and-play ease of use. Sensor networks can extend their range with the inclusion of Repeater hubs that we also have available. We also offer a range of development options are intended for advanced users who are already completely familiar with the NXP JN5148 and JN516X chipsets and the 802.15.4 standard. |

We have a range of IEEE 802.15.4 Gateway options, to support various different Wireless Sensor Network configurations. All based on the NXP-Jennic JenNet Protocol stack, each Gateway option incorporates a JN5148-001-M04 High Power Wireless Module & has an Ethernet Port for IPv4 Internet connectivity The AP-300 Gateway offers a ready-made solution for System Designers developing IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee or Jenie/JenNet wireless network applications with IPv4 connectivity. We then have a range of Gateways for OEM solutions, including the AP-310, AP-350 (with battery backup and offline storage) plus the AP-330 which offers GSM capability. All these gateways are pre-configured to support our range of Beehive sensors (Temperature, Humidity & Light) With new Gateway options under development, we are sure to have a solution to meet your Wireless Sensor Network requirements. |

Our Beehive Wireless Sensors, from Greenode Developments provide a self-contained solution to a variety of sensor requirements, currently including Temperature, Humidity & Light levels. Programmed to work “out-of- the-box”, the sensors provide 100m line of sight range back to the Gateway and have a typical battery life (from 2x AA cells) of approx 2 years. The Sensors use IEE802.15.4 and the NXP-Jennic JenNet Wireless Sensor Network protocols. These form a self-healing WSN that co-exists with other 2.4 GHz wireless systems such as WiFi and Bluetooth. Mains powered Repeaters are also available to extend the range, or simply provide a signal-boost in more challenging environments. |

Our Starter Kits offer fully functional Wireless Sensor Networks for a variety of applications. They each include a Gateway, typically the AP-310, plus a range of sensors according to your specific requirements (to measure and record Temperature, Humidity and/or Light levels). Then simply add any required repeaters, and you are ready to go. Each of the kits offers Plug-and-Play functionality, with sensors and Gateway programmed to work “out-of- the-box”. Each of the sensors will have a typical battery life (from 2x AA cells) of approx 2 years. All kits use the 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 standard and utilise the NXP-Jennic JenNet Wireless Sensor Network protocols. This robust protocol can co-exist with other 2.4GHz wireless systems such as WiFi and Bluetooth that are likely to be present in the same environment. |
