Our Beehive Wireless Sensors, from Greenode Developments provide a self-contained solution to a variety of sensor requirements, currently including Temperature, Humidity & Light levels.
Programmed to work 'out-of-the-box', the sensors provide 100m line of sight range back to the Gateway and have a typical battery life (from 2x AA cells) of approx 2 years.
The Sensors use IEEE802.15.4 and the Atomic JenieJenNet Network Stack . These form a self-healing WSN that co-exists with other 2.4 GHz wireless systems such as WiFi and Bluetooth.
Mains powered Repeaters are also available to extend the range, or simply provide a signal-boost in more challenging environments.
