AP-401 USB Programming Dongle |
 |
The USB Programming Dongle provides a simple solution for programming a Flash memory device on a JN51XX-based application board using the standard Jennic JN51xx Flash Programmer tool. It's based on the Jennic reference design JN-RD-6021.
This is the recommended tool for re-programming rhe flash memory in the AP-310, AP-330 and AP-350 Gateways.
This USB Programming Dongle replaces the FTDI cable and allows for connection to a physically smaller 6-pin connector, therefore allowing the easy development of application boards where space is critical. In addition to the smaller connector, the requirement for switches on the reset and SPIMISO line is removed, which saves further space.
A secondary use of this programming dongle is to allow UART communication during application development, such as to provide debug messages.

Programming Support for JN51X8 Flash Devices |
 |
The AP-114 offers In-system (ISP) and Stand-alone programming support for the JN5148/5168 flash devices. These features can be used with any standard Flash/EEPROM. The following Jennic features are also supported:
1. Jennic Mac Address files. - Take a new MAC address and automatically place it in you binary during the programming cycle and marking the MAC address as used
2. Zigbee Pro Security Data Serialisation - See Jennic JN51x8 Support in ApPC for more details

Debug the JN51x8 Wireless Microcontroller |
 |
The AP-114-J is a standard AP-114 programmer supplied with an additional cable assembly that allows the unit to connect directly to the Jennic JN51x8-EK010 evaluation kit Sensor and Controller boards. The cable allows the JN51x8 Debugger to be run directly on the Evaluation Kit, using software supplied by Jennic on their SDK JN-SW-4041

AP-425 JN516X Socket Programming Board |
 |
The AP-425 is a programming board for the NXP JN5161/4/8/9 Wireless Microcontroller ICs. It allows programming of the entire flash memory
(including the boot sector) and is suitable for both development and production use. The index sector can also be programmed to allow customer MAC addresses and security to be programmed.
The board has a 40pin ZIF socket and needs to be connected to an AP-114 JTAG programmer. Atomic programming also offers a programming
service for JN516X silicon (including reeling of the devices). Please contact Atomic Programming for details.
